Terms & conditions
General information and booking conditions.
In these Terms & Conditions, the “Company” shall mean Taste2Wildlife, a company registered according to the company laws of the Republic of Madagascar. The “Client” shall mean the person who has signed a booking form and each person named in the booking form. The “Agent” shall mean the company which has signed an Agent’s Contract and is booking a Client to travel with us.
Contract
There shall be no binding contract between the Company and the Client until all of the following conditions are met:
- the Company booking form has been signed;
- the 30% deposit has been paid;
- the booking terms and conditions have been confirmed by the Client.
Payments
- A deposit of 30% per Client is required with the application form to confirm a booking.
- The full balance is payable no later than 30 days before departure or the start of services. No Client may commence an itinerary before payment in full is received. Late applicants may join a tour subject to accommodation availability.
Insurance
Travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every Client and remains solely the Client’s responsibility. Cover must run for the full duration of travel and include personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation and loss of luggage. If a Client falls ill, all hospital and medical expenses, doctors’ fees and repatriation costs are the Client’s responsibility, and the Company shall not be liable for any refund of the tour rate.
The carriage and storage of all baggage and personal effects are at all times at the Client’s risk and the Company accepts no liability for loss or damage.
Health
The Client acknowledges awareness of the proposed itinerary and confirms being medically fit, in good physical and mental health and able to embark on the tour. Any Client with a pre-existing medical condition or illness must declare its true nature to the Company before the tour begins.
Changes and alterations
If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall be entitled, in its sole and absolute discretion, to vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement. “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Company, including but not limited to flood, fire, cyclone, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, strikes and other unexpected events.
Cancellations
Cancellation must be notified in writing. The deposit is non-refundable; cancellation charges then increase as the departure date approaches, and no refund is made for services unused once the tour has started. Your written confirmation states the exact scale applying to your booking.
Liability
The Company acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines, boat operators and other suppliers and is not liable for their acts or omissions, nor for injury, loss, delay or damage arising from causes beyond its reasonable control.
Complaints
Any complaint should be raised immediately with your guide or our office so that it can be resolved on the spot, and confirmed in writing to contact@taste2madagascar.com within 30 days of the end of the tour.
