What to see in the Tsingy de Bemaraha?

The Tsingy de Bemaraha are arguably Madagascar's most spectacular landscape. This limestone plateau, sculpted by rain over millions of years, forms a genuine forest of stone needles.
Grand Tsingy: the must-do experience
The classic circuit lasts 4 to 6 hours. It combines walking, climbing and via ferrata. Highlight: the famous suspension bridge spanning a 40-meter canyon.
Petit Tsingy: gentler
2 to 3 hour circuit, more family-friendly. Great views of the Manambolo gorges.
Manambolo pirogue descent
A sublime half-day: limestone cliffs, Vazimba funerary caves, ancestral tombs.
Our tip
Plan at least 2 nights in Bekopaka. The journey from Morondava (200 km of tracks) takes 8-10h by 4×4.
